Pluckley is in the Guinness Book of records as it is reputed to be the most haunted village in Britain, with reputedly 12-16 ghosts! It was also the setting where Charlie and Mariette were married in the popular ITV series "The Darling Buds of May". ANnd was also featured in the TV series "Midsummer Murders". St Nicholas Church serves cream teas in the churchyard on summer Sunday afternoons.
