Fire burns through rugged terrain, making the Mendocino Complex Fires the largest in California history, Lake County, Calif., Aug. 9. The complex includes the River and Ranch Fires. Ranch Fire has now become the single largest fire in California history at over 355 thousand acres and is still burning. MCLB Barstow sent single resources to assist with the fire as a Fireline EMT and a paramedic.
