Molecular model of a SARS-CoV-2 DMV nsp3-4 pore complex involved in the replication of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The complex consists of the two non-structural proteins nsp3 (green and blue) and nsp4 (magenta, yellow) encoded by the viral genome. They are essential for various viral functions but are not part of the mature virion (virus particle). The pore is a channel within the DMV membrane and essential for the transport of viral components and cellular molecules required for viral replication within the DMV.
