Bright Angel Trail - Grand Canyon Below Jacob's Ladder A group day hiking below the redwall limestone switchbacks of Jacob's Ladder on the Bright Angel Trail. This location is just south of Indian Garden. The round trip to Indain Garden is miles ( km ) and takes between 6 and 10 hours. Indian Gardens is 3,060 feet ( 933 m ) below the South Rim Village.
