Artist Fiona Lowry has won the Archibald Prize 2014 for a portrait of architect Penelope Seider, with the announcement made on July 18, 2014. The Wynne Prize was won by Michael Johnson for 'Oceania high low' and the Sulman Prize by Andrew Sullivan for 'T-rex (tyrant lizard king)'. The Archibald, Wynne and Sulman prizes are run annually by the Art Gallery of New South Wales with prizes of $75,000, $35,000 and $30,000 respectively.
