Sangpo, a Tibetan monk from Germany, visits the eighth century Buddhist monument of Borobudur in central Java with his teacher from Lhasa. Exiled to Dharamsala when the Chinese moved into Tibet, his teacher is nearly as old as Dalai Lama. Noticing the "headless" Buddha statues at Borobudur, the teacher remarks: "Bad Karma."
