The cars are connected with each other bya telephone system which can be used whencars are in motion or when still. The upperand lower stations are also connected by aseparate telephone system. As the car approaches the summit the viewof the surrounding country breaks suddenlyupon the gaze of visitors. The short walkfrom the upper station of the railroad to theSummit House is a pleasant one, and visitorslinger on the way to observe many points ofinterest. A*
