The area of theclubs territory is about six thousandacres and about twenty-five miles oftrails from the camp to different runwaysand points have been cut out. All thetrails are blazed, and an occasional threenotches are shown in the blaze on theside next the cabin. All these trails arewell selected and nicely cleared is therefore no inconvenienceeither in travelling to the runways or re-. As might be expected from its positionin the woods, the cabin is built entirelyof logs with the bark on, all corners be-ing dove-tailed and well chinked withmortar. As a result the place is cozyand comfortable at all times. The sizeof the building is 18x36 and is dividedinto two large rooms down stairs, onebeing the dining room and the other asitting room. Upstairs there are eightgood sized bed rooms, all furnished withspring beds, mattresses, pillows, sheets,blankets, spreads &c. At the rear ofthe main cabin is a large kitchen andleading from it is a bedroom for the chefand his assistant. Near the cabin is afarm house where the guides stay and abarn in which the dogs are kept. Although it was near midnight whenwe retired the first night, we were awak-ened before daylight and were so eagerfor the hunt that not one grumble washeard. All answered the
