Who flies with Icarus to the sun's rays, / that deposit with him to Neêr, must fall to the abyss; / But that with Dedalus, in All's preservation the middle, / flies safely over the sea, enjoys a despest state. Daedalus flies through the air. Above him the sun, under him the sea. His son Icarus drowns in the water because he has flown too close to the sun. Surrounded by a list of flower vines.
