Dear Sir—Mineral County has been allottedseven of the medals cast by the Treasury De-partment from captured German caraion, whichare to be awarded for patriotic service in be-half of the Liberty Loans and these medalshave been forwarded to me with the requestthat I distribute them. I feel certain that no person in this countyhas done more active or effective work than youin behalf of all the Liberty Loans, and I takegreat pleasure in enclosing one of these medals,which I present to you in the name of SecretaryGlass. It is my hope that this medal may be aconstant reminder to you of the disinterestedpatriotic service
