Moore's Early (New).—The earliest good black grape; equal in quality, health and hardiness to Concord, but ripens some ten daj'S earlier. Is a good, fair grower and bearer, but requires age to do its best. Bunch large, berry very large. It is being extensively planted for market; valuable for garden and NiAGABA--(Reduced). Worden. —This excellent grape has come to the front by merit alone. It is as hardy, healthy, vigorous and produc- tive as the Coucord, of which it is a seedling, but better in qualitj', sweeter, larger in bunch and berry, and several days earlier. The worst that can be said of it is, that it will crack under con- ditions that the Coucoi'd will. Veiy valuable for garden and vineyard. jjfiagara.—Said to be a cross of Coucovd and some other variety. Biinch medium to large, compact, occasionally shouldered; berry large, round- ish, unifoi-m; skin thin but tough, pale green at first, changing to pale yellow when fully ripe, with a thin whitish bloom; flesh slightly pulpy, tender, sweet, not quite equal to the Concord. Before it is fully matured it has a A-ery foxy odor, which disappears to a great extent, later. Vine re- markably Aigorons, healthy and productive; foliage thick and leatherj\ Ripens with the Concord. wORDEN—(Reduced)..
