The motifs are connected by a fine Maas soil, the Mechelen soil. The motifs are made in linen battle with thicker and shiny contour threads. Different decorative lands have been applied in the cartouches along the underside, in the loops, berries and flower hearts. The faintly scalloped underside stems from the pattern with the double pendulum and is finished with picots. The top is straight.
