GULF OF OMAN (Nov. 22, 2016) Petty Officer 3rd Class Ryan Stockman looks toward the guided-missile cruiser USS Monterey (CG 61) from an MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the Vipers of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 48. Monterey, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
