Duval Timothy performing on the NTS Heavenly Stage at the OnBlackheath Music Festival 2016
Duval Timothy is a pianist and multi-disciplinary artist from South-London. Duval recorded his first album ‘Dukobanti’ in New Cross at the end of 2012. The project featured solo piano compositions as well as collaborations with Nicholas Mandalos and Norihiro Usui as well as sampling Bernard Purdie on ‘Ghostnotes’. Duval released his second album ‘Brown Loop’ at the end of 2015. The project featured Duval playing original solo piano compositions throughout the record. The project was re-recorded at the beginning of 2016 in New York with the newly formed ‘I should care records’. The re-release of Brown Loop is due to be available digitally and on vinyl spring/summer 2016.
