Tricolor heron standing in lagoon water, waiting patiently for passing fish. This wading bird actually stood motionless for over 20 minutes whilst other surrounding diving birds succeeded in feeding on other fish. Favourite food for this species are frogs, crawfish, mice, insects and other aquatic life.
