The Houses of Parliament also known as The Palace of Westminster or Westminster Palace, is the meeting place of the two houses of Parliament of the United Kingdom - the House of Lords and House of Commons. The building was designed by Charles Barry who worked alongside the architect Augustus Pugin to create the perpendicular Gothic style.
