The Schlei is a narrow inlet of the Baltic Sea in Schleswig-Holstein in Germany. Along the Schlei are many small bays and lagoons, so called Noors. The Ornum lagoon lies in the middle of a picturesque hilly landscape. It is an important breeding area for water birds and a spawning ground for fish.
