The red pillars marking the location of the old Blackfriars Railway Bridge, London, UK

The red pillars marking the location of the old Blackfriars Railway Bridge, London, UK. It was designed by Joseph Cubitt and opened in 1864, carrying the London, Chatham and Dover Railway into St Paul’s Station. It had only four tracks, so a new one (the current rail bridge) was built next to it 21 years later, the old bridge being removed (apart from the pillars) in 1985.
