It will be noted thatthe other wells in the group later followed a similar course. This indi-cates that well IC is the source of the water trouble. Diagrams based only on the water percentage, such as Fig. 18, canbe more easily made and sometimes are sufficient to point out theorigin of trouble. However, such a diagram might be misleading forthe reason that a well reporting high percentage of water, but makingonly a small amount of oil, would be given equal prominence on thediagram with a more productive well.
