7 PACIFIC OCEAN (June 6, 2017) Lt. Jim Edminister, operations officer aboard the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59), from Akron, Ohio, fires a 9mm pistol during a small arms qualification course on the flight deck. Princeton is currently underway as part of the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group on a regularly scheduled deployment to the Western Pacific and Indian Oceans.
