They have not been selected with reference to any specialornamental motives on the latter, although in certain cases thereare seen to be unmistakable analogies of method and design. Theaffinities are more those of style and of decorative effect in thearrangement of light and dark, and in the manner of covering theground so as to keep it interesting and vivaciou
