Irvine beach, Ayrshire, Scotland, UK. 13th December, 2014. On the first weekend after the recent severe storm, the volunteer members of Scottish Coastwatch patrol the beach at Irvine, Ayrshire to ensure the public's safety and warn them of potentially dangerous areas and tides. The recent high waves and weather bomb affected the Ayrshire coast and now people have come to walk the shoreline. Coastwatch is an organisation staffed by volunteers and it has a close working relationship with the Coastguard and other emergency services. Credit: Findlay/Alamy Live News
