GREAT LAKES, Ill. (April 4, 2022) - Capt. Ken Williams, Naval Station Great Lakes executive officer (right), and CMDCM Tony Corey, NS Great Lakes command master chief, took part in planting Pinwheels for Prevention as part of Child Abuse Prevention Month 2022 at Great Lakes Fleet & Family (Bldg. 26). The Pinwheels for Prevention campaign serves as a reminder that everyone has a responsibility to help protect children in the community through education and awareness, support and outreach to children and families in need, and by reporting suspected child abuse or neglect.
