These beautiful small flowered or Pompone varieties have almost entirely been lost sight of during recent years, but are again coming to the front, and are certain to become popular for out-door bedding purposes. They are absolutely hardy, and produce an abundant, almost lavish, profusion of blooms, and the plants lend a coloration to the garden just at a time when other plants have been destroyed by frost and are looking their worst. Frost does not materially affect "the flowering, and it will frequently happen that an armful of flowers can be cut after a sharp frost. The collection we offer embraces all the leading colors, and with but a slight covering of leaves or coarse stable fitter during the winter, will take care of themselves after once planted. Bob.
