Raimundo Cabrera , lawyer and politician born in Guines in 1852, belonged to the Autonomist Party and later became separatist. Published his famous book Cuba and their judges in 1887. Founded and directed the magazine 'Cuba and America'. He was president of the Economic Society and author of My Bad Times (1916). He died in 1923.
