Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 113,034, dated March 28, 1871. To all whom it may concern: Be it known that I, Thomas A. Edison, ofNewark, in the county of Essex and State ofNew Jersey, nave invented an Improvementin Printing-Telegraphs, and the following isdeclared to be a correct description thereof. This invention is made for printing fromone of two type-wheels at pleasure, by chang-ing the printing-pad from the line of one wheelto that of the other. By this means a printing-telegraph or anumber of instruments in one circuit can beworked with one wire, and the impressions betaken from either the letter-wheel or the fig-ure-wheel, and the impression given by revers-ing the circuit. If, therefore, the telegraph is required forpriuting letters, the same can be done withoutthe loss of time
