The ornamental colours of the soft parts are distributed as follows:—They consist of yellow bands and spots, edged with black; the most con-spicuous is a band running from the upper part of the eye along the uppermargin of the neck; sometimes it is interrupted in some part of its course,and generally a continuation of it is visible in front of the eye.
