Wrangel Palace (Wrangelska Palatset), Stenbock Palace (Stenbockska Palatset, statue of Birger Jarl, Birger Jarls Torg, Riddarholmen, Stockholm, Sweden


Wrangel Palace dates originally from 1530 but has been rebuilt and expanded and was finally completed in 1802. Since 1756 it has been the Svea Court of Appeal. Stenbock Palace was built in 1640 for Fredrik Stenbock. Today it is used by the Supreme Administrative Court. The statue of Birger Jarl is from 1854 by Swedish sculptor by Bengt Erland Fogelberg. Jarl was the founder of Stockholm.
