Pre civil rights sign requiring separate seating for Whites and Negroes on old railroad depot historic Buffalo Gap, Texas, USA

Once a thriving town, today Buffalo Gap is a suburb of Abilene, Texas. The historic village of Buffalo Gap recreates the West Texas frontier from 1875 to 1925 with over 20 historic frontier buildings in various states of repair. The railroad depot is one of the buildings and the site of the sign reminding passengers that they must be segregated by race. Inside there's also two separate waiting rooms.
