"The Golden Ford" 1911 Model T Ford racer at Brooklands Double Twleve Motorsport Festival 2014

This newly-restored Model T Ford was originally raced as a stripped chassis by pioneer aviator , who won the 1912 All-Ford Race at Brooklands,Weybridge, Surrey, watched by Henry Ford himself. The car became "Golden Ford" the following year when it was fitted with a narrow single-seat body of polished brass.
