Mildred Trotter (1899-1991), US forensic anthropologist and anatomist. Trotter graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 1920. Her doctorate was awarded by Washington University in St Louis in 1924. After service as a US Army forensic anthropologist following World War II (helping to identify the remains of dead soldiers), she spent her entire career at Washington University in St Louis, Missouri, USA. She was a founding member of the American Association of Physical Anthropologists.
