WOOD'S PROLIFIC BUSH LIHA BEAN. A Great Improvement Over the Ordi= nary Bush Lima. Pods Larger, Beans Larger in Size, and a Wonder= fully Prolific Yielder. Our customers who grew this splendid new introduction the past season are most enthusiastic in its praise. It will yield under ordinary circumstances easily twice as much as the older Wood s or Hender- son's Bush Lima, and is bound to sup- plant that variety. It makes a larger growth of vine, and while it is of a true bush form, when it first starts off has the appearance as though it was going to put out runners. It produces an enormous crop, both beans and pods being much larger in size than the ordinary Bush Lima. The stems are stout, tall growing, and hold the pods well up a bove the ground, and the vines are full of beans. It is well known that some of the large kinds of Bush Lima Beans are very shy bearers and are not to be depended upon, but in Wood's Prolific will be found a most prolific, reliable cropper, which can be de- pended upon to make a large yielding and most satisfactory crop. In maturity it is as early as any of the Bush Limas, and it is bound to prove immensely popular with our growers everywhere. Peter Henderson & Co. their original stock, hence the name. This variety has enjoyed a popularity unequaled by any introduc- tion of recent years. They are two weeks earlier than the Large Lima, and are won- derfully productive, averaging about sixty pods to each bush. The bushes are of hardy growth, compact, very prolific,
