Board sundial on the S face of the bell turret with a broach spire on the tiled roof of St Michael and All Angels' Church, Thursley, Surrey, England, UK. The sundial is inscribed Hora pars vitae: An hour is part of life. The C14th or C15th turret has a louvred opening in each face of the plinth, it is supported in the centre of the church by a massive, early C16th timber frame (oak cage). The square tower & tapering octagonal spire are wood shingled. The sundial may be a copy of an C18th design.
