Fireworks display in Zurrieq, Malta

Organised by the Mount Carmel Fireworks Factory of Zurrieq, the Magic in the Sky fireworks display is held on the eve of the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Zurrieq, Malta. Village feasts are a cultural mainstay in Malta, and outside celebrations include processions, brass bands, and fireworks, drawing both locals as well as foreigners to the feasts. These days the main focus of the displays is a pyro-technical ground fireworks display synchronised to music.
