The cannon fire team renders honors to the 1st Cavalry Division's commanding general, Maj. Gen. John B. Richardson IV, during its 101st birthday celebration Sep. 19 on Cooper Field at Fort Hood, Texas. The division celebrated its birthday with friendly competitions and ceremonies to build camaraderie amongst First Team Troopers, Sep. 12-16 at Fort Hood, Texas. The ceremony concluded the week-long celebration, thousands of Troopers and local community members attended a ceremony.
