19th February 2020. Rochester Cathedral, Kent, UK. Lunar Art Instation The Museum of the Moon is a dramatic installation by UK artist Luke Jerram. The lunar sculpture and accompanying soundscape created by BAFTA and Ivor Novello award winning composer Dan Jones fills the vaulted roof of Rochester Cathedral in Kent. The replica moon is seven metres in diameter and is internally illuminated, faithfully reproducing the cratered surface of our celestial neighbour.
