Entry shall only be granted for alternate claims, the otheralternate claims being reserved for the crown, to be disposed ofat public auction or in such manner as may be decided by theMinister of the Interior. The penalty for trespassing upon aclaim reserved for the crown shall be the immediate cancellationby the gold commissioner of any entry the trespasser may haveobtained for a mining claim, and the refusal of the acceptance of 416 RESUME OF MINING LAWS. any applic;ition which the trespasser may at any time make for aclaim.
