Ringworm infection

Ringworm infection on the chest of a 62 year old Hispanic male patient given oral and topical steroids. Ringworm is a fungal infection of the skin that is highly contagious. This is tinea incognita, a form of the infection that has been incorrectly treated with steroids rather than an antifungal agent.
