Hotwater will be employed for heating, and an immenseboiler pit is in course of construction. Some idea ofits size may be gathered from the fact that 75,000square yards of soil had to be excavated. The heat-ing will be done by two large locomotive boilers, andis being installed by the Johnson Heating Companyof New York. Owing to some delay, the houses were late in beingfinished, and planting in was somewhat late; stillthe stock is all in very good condition. One houseis filled throughout with carnation Winsor. Lawson, Enchantress, Melody, which is aflower about the color of Enchantress, probably alittle brighter, with the habit of Mrs. Lawson; andWhite Lawson.
