The four varieties offered below are the most desirable of our popular native Golden Rods, Altissima. The giant of the family, attaining a height of 10 to 12 feet; the large heads of golden-yellow flowers do not reach per- fection until late in October. Canadensis. Grows 4 to 5 feet high, with spikes of golden-yellow flowers from the end of July until September. Rigidus. A bold plant with large, heavy foliage and immense heads of yellow flowers from the end of July till September. Shortia.
