The large white blossom of the night blooming Trichocereus Spachianus Cactus, also known as the Golden Torch and the Golden Column Cactus. This is a landscape plant from my own personal garden in Arizona. I created the lighting effect by taking a long exposure and then used a hand-held lamp to paint the back of the cactus flower with the glow of the lamp. This way there were no harsh shadows on the flower.
