The low lands are difficult to drain and areapt to suffer from excessive humidity in heavy rains, notwithstandinggood ditches at the proper places. 266 The area of the farm is 162 acres, but 120 only can be ploughed ; theremaining 42 acres consist of stony hillocks, used as permanent pastures,.4 acres in woodland part of which is a sugary.
