The variety found as a bud sport in the orchard of Mr. J. P. Sullivan at Zebulon, Ga. The tree and fruit characteris- tics Avere found to be identical with Elberta. Sullivan's Earlv Elberta is being planted extensively throughout Geor- gia and adjoining states. Our trees are propagated from the original strain. We have fruited Sullivan's Early Elberta now for several years in our test orchard and are more impressed with it each year. It ripens ahead of the regular Early Elberta and Belle of Georgia: it averages large in size, extra line quality and shows good shipping ability. We have long needed a good commercial peach to fill this ripening time. Sullivan's Early Elberta has real possibilities and we recom- mend it highly. NOTE: SULEIVAN'S EARLY ELBERTA — Trees avail- able on Nematode Resistant Root Stock, $ .10 extra per tree. See pasre 13. ,/ REDSKIN (U) REDROSE ( 98) A firm attractive white fleshed freestone peach of high quality ripening with Halehaven and Golden East. Tree vigorous, productive and hardy. Highly recommended for those who desire a firm white-fleshed peach to ripen ahead of Georgia Belle. REDCREST ( 126) (9[)) A large attractive, yelloAV-fleshed free- stone ripening about a week before Elberta. The skin color is a beautiful crimson red which resembles Sunhigli. The quality is supreme, flesh golden yellow, firm and juicy. Tree is productive and a vigorous grower. Redcrest is what is known as an airfree peach. A EARLY ELBERTA <iO) A Great Commercial Pea
