Then, again, there is a series of tints ranging from the softest pinks to the deepest crimsons and fiery coppers and reds ; and some are two-colored, owing to the florets being pale- when first expanded, and afterwards changing to a deeper hue. Zinnias of all kinds are important in the garden, par- ticularly in late summer and early autumn. DOUBLE TOM THUMB ZINNIAS.—A compact Lillipu- tian-growing variety, not over 12 inches high, especially suited for edgingsandsmallbeds, with flowers resembling in size and color the pompon zinnias. Per pkt., 5 cts. POMPON ZINNIAS.—The flowers of this beautiful class- are but about half the size of the ordinary zinnia, are- very double, and of the most perfect form and vivid colors. Per pkt., 3 cents. ZEBRA DOUBLE-STRIPED ZINNIAS.—Very interesting; and beautiful class. The seed we offer was saved from the most characteristic blooms, and will produce many very fine striped flowers. Per pkt., 5 cents. MAMMOTH-FLOWERED ZINNIAS.—Growing 3 feet in height, with large, perfectly formed flowers, often 5 to 6 inches across, which are borne in uninterrupted succes- sion the whole summer.
