IQW THE McGILL NEWS 35 THE PERCIVAL MOLSON STADIUM No MORE fitting monument to a fine athlete andsplendid sportsman could be imagined than thegreat Stadium which now stands above the cit\on the lower slopes of Mount Royal and commemorates aname which will always inspire students of McCiill to-wards that which is finest and cleanest in the realm ofsport. The Percival Molson Stadium is well namedafter one, who, living, organized his fellow graduates insupport of its construction, and, dying, bequeathed tomeet its cost a sum which made it certain that it wouldnever be a burden on his Iniversity or a charge againsthis associates. Captain Molson met his death in Franceand fills a soldiers grave; but the memory of his loyalty toMcGill and of his devotion to her interests will foreverbe preserved in the great work, the achievement of whichhis energy and generosity made possible.
