Fore wing white, the costal area obliquely suffused with pale olive from before middle to termen at vein 6, defined below by a white fascia, then sufi'used with red-brown and purplish red to vein 1, the inner margin whitish with a quadrate black-brown patch at middle; a very oblique blackish striga from costa near base ; blackish streaks along median nervure and vein 4 to termen and in base of submedian fold ; a very indistinct whitish antemedial line defined on each side by some slight dark points, oblique from costa to sub- costal nervure, incurved in cell and at vein 1 ; postmcdial line very indistinct, whitish, very oblique from middle of costa to vein 6 and incurved below vein 4; traces of a minutely dentate whitish sub- terminal line faintly defined on inner side by brown, excurved below costa, a white spot beyond it between veins 4, 3 ; some dark points on costa towards apex ; cilia red-brown at discal and sub- median folds and with slight dark line through them. Hind wing white, the veins and terminal area suffused with purple-brown ; cilia white, brownish at base; the underside white, the costal and terminal areas tinged with brown. Hah.
