Basket Ball ?J ASKET ball is a popular game in New Wilmington. The game is one, , that deserves to be popular. It is wholesome, exciting, and easy torS^ljfl lie understood. It comes in a season when the weather rules out allother athletic sports. Basket hall is also the only game in which thesmaller colleges can hope to compete successfully with the larger universities, without indiscriminate hiring of players. For several years W estminster has been well represented in this branch ofathletics. Our team, this season, has been even stronger than usual. We havemet many of the strongest teams in the country. While we have lost five outof ten games played, we have met with but one decisive defeat. Twice our oldtime rivals from Grove C ity went down in ignominious defeat before our sturdybraves. The University of West Virginia was defeated by an overwhelming-score. On our home Moor not a single game has been lust. The following is ihe result of games played. Westminster 62 New Cast
