The Camosciara butterwort is a recently-described species, and is a localized endemism that grows only in a very limited number of stations in the Abruzzo National Park, central Italy. It is a carnivorous plant, using its sticky leaves to catch small flies and other insects which it then digests. This photograph shows the leaves with some recently captured small flies.
