Gorgeous antique Chinese biscuit-glazed porcelain figure with Famille verte type decoration. Depicting a man standing by his horse carrying what appears to be an oversized peach on its saddle. Similar piece sold at Christie's Live Auction 2530 - 10-11 January 2012 - lot 287 - A Chinese Export Famille Verte Equestrian Figure. They dated it as 'probably 18th century' but it appears and feels a bit later. Height: 16 cm Width: 17 cm Base measures approx. 11x7 cm
