Queensferry, UK. 30th Aug, 2017. The Forth Road Bridge is deserted as the Queensferry Crossing saw heavy traffic on it's first day of operation. At miles long, it is the longest cable-stay bridge in the world, costing £ billion. The bridge will be officially opened by the Queen on 4th of September, exactly 53 years after she opened the adjacent Forth road bridge, which the Queensferry Crossing replaces.
